My Story
Briana Leigh Mercado (April 27) was born into the entertainment industry, spending her childhood watching her mother work behind the scenes—creating movies, producing a TV show, developing marketing materials, and producing music. Immersed in creativity and entrepreneurship from an early age, Briana learned the value of storytelling, presentation, and dedication firsthand.

With multiple college degrees and over two decades of hands-on experience, Briana has built expertise spanning event production, media relations, digital strategy, and client management. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Tourism, Convention, and Event Planning with a Minor in Journalism from the College of Southern Nevada, earning Dean’s List honors in 2022 and 2024, as well as an Associate of Business and an Advanced Honors Diploma from Del Sol High School’s Class of 2015. She also holds professional certifications in Sabre and IC3 Literacy, underscoring her ability to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

As the Chief Operating Officer of Mercado Marketing & Public Relations (MMPR), Briana has managed high-profile clients, developed impactful marketing campaigns, and executed VIP events with precision. Her work highlights include serving as a marketing director and publicist, growing client exposure, enhancing social media presence, and producing innovative brand activations. With over five years as a professional social media creator, live streamer, and lifestyle gamer, she brings a modern digital edge that merges creativity with analytics to maximize engagement.

Her diverse background in acting, modeling, and behind-the-scenes production gives her a unique advantage in crafting authentic campaigns that connect with audiences and elevate brands. Briana’s leadership journey began early, serving as Head Cheer Captain, Vice President of Student Council, DECA member, CSN Cheerleader, and ASCSN Senator.

Career highlights include organizing the first-ever open red carpet event for the public and building affiliations with organizations such as the College of Southern Nevada, Sierra Air Conditioning and Plumbing, and My Vegas Magazine. She continues to grow her expertise in the entertainment industry while actively pursuing further education.
